Jeremy Hough:
Solving Your Technical & Marketing Challenges

Initiatives for 2016

As I look back on the last year, I’ve had the pleasure of working on some really engaging projects. Some have made me rely on my past experience, while others have forced me to grow and continue in my professional development. As 2015 comes to a close, I look forward to the projects that will come my way in the new year.

Here are some of my favorite projects from the past year:

  • ECommerce Storefront for a NASCAR sponsor fan shop
  • Warranty Lookup Tool using Flask/Python.
  • Generating Dynamic PDFs on the Fly

While those have been great technical challenges, as an Internet Marketer, the problems the technology is solving are as much a joy as the solutions themselves. The basis for IT in the enterprise, is of course underlying business problems and objectives. Throughout the course of realizing the implementation of a given technical project, there is often a discovery process and certain road bumps and challenges that are strictly in the technical domain. There are problems that are seemingly far-removed from the original premise of the project, the business need.

During the next year, I hope to come across projects that DO give me those kind of technical challenges, but I hope to make those technical issues transparent to those offering the project and accepting the solution.

I hope to stay organized, and have a vision for the processes I follow as part of constant improvement.
